Beyondedge was engaged to collaborate on this very sensitive topic of abuse in the disability sector. Whilst it would be easy to produce a program of do's and dont's, Beyondedge instead opted to conduct further content development focus groups build positive tools to help support workers realise the full potential of their clients. This module throws learners in to a shared house scenario where the learner experiences an unfolding narrative and comes face to face with challenging decisions which ultimately guides them to make good judgement calls. But it doesn't stop there, aside from addressing abuse this program provides practical tools to empower people with disability in all elements of their life from financial, relationships, through to supporting their personal development.
